The story surrounding this piece:
In my local little village on the Central Coast of NSW, I have often driven past this gorgeous hand-crafted fence and thought about the beauty of timber and the agelessness of trees. I’ve looked closely at the rough-hewn cross-sections and marvelled at the secrets they must keep. From where they came, their growth rings can tell me how old this tree is, and its resilience through drought, through storms, and through plenty. If only trees could talk….
